Overview
This article explains the available account security options for Titan Lite and Titan accounts and how to enable additional protection.
Using verification and Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) helps keep your account secure, even if your password or primary email address is compromised.
Titan Lite Account
Titan Lite accounts do not support full online access. However, you can still add an extra layer of protection by enabling verification through a secondary email address.
How to enable secondary email verification
To set this up:
- Click Submit a request in the top right corner of this page
- Create a support ticket and provide a second email address you would like to use for authentication
Once the secondary email address is added:
- Any important account-related action will require a one-time verification code
- Verification codes are sent only to your secondary email address
This ensures that even if someone gains access to your primary email, your account remains protected.
Titan Account
Titan accounts support full Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) directly through the Titan Dashboard.
How to enable Two-Factor Authentication
To enable 2FA, navigate to:
Account Management → Security → Two-Factor Authentication
Then follow the on-screen setup steps:
- Open the Two-Factor Authentication section
- Review the available authentication methods
- Choose your preferred verification option
Available verification methods
Titan supports multiple 2FA methods, depending on your preference:
- SMS
A verification code is sent to your phone via text message when you log in or perform sensitive actions. - Authentication App (QR Code)
Use an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Authy, or Microsoft Authenticator.
Scan the QR code shown on your screen and enter the generated code to complete setup. - Email
Verification codes are sent to your registered email address. This option is useful if you prefer not to use SMS or an app.
Confirm and activate
Once you complete the setup process, Two-Factor Authentication will be activated.
After activation:
- You will be asked for a verification code whenever you log in
- Additional verification is required for important security changes
Why Two-Factor Authentication Matters
Two-Factor Authentication is one of the most effective ways to protect your Titan account.
Even if your password is compromised, 2FA helps prevent unauthorized access and keeps your account secure.
