How to Cancel a Subscription (via PayPal or Stripe)

Subscriptions are convenient, but sometimes you need to make a change. Whether you are managing your budget or no longer using a service, this guide explains how to cancel a subscription safely and correctly.

This article covers subscriptions paid via PayPal or Stripe. The exact steps depend on how you originally subscribed.

Canceling a Subscription via PayPal

To cancel a subscription paid via PayPal, follow these steps:

1. Log in to your PayPal account.
2. Open your account Settings.
3. Go to the Payments section.
4. Click Manage automatic payments.
5. Find LegendGames in the list of merchants and open it.
6. Click Cancel or Cancel Automatic Payments.
7. Confirm the cancellation.

After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing cycle, but no further charges will be made.

Canceling a Subscription via Stripe

If your subscription is managed through Stripe, follow these steps:

1. When you completed your first purchase, you received an email from LegendGames with a link to your Stripe Customer Portal.
2. Open that email and click the link to access your portal.
3. In the portal, go to the Subscription section.
4. Click Cancel Subscription and confirm the cancellation.

If you no longer have access to the portal link, click Submit a request in the top right corner of this page and our team will resend it to you.

After cancellation, your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period. No additional payments will be charged unless you reactivate your subscription.
